FELLOW FUNDERS IS A CROWDFUNDING PLATFORM (EQUITY CROWDFUNDING)
This platform is authorised by CNMV and developed by ex-bank managers who want to help channel the funding from investors into startups and growth companies. All this due to their experience and having developed a model of scoring and evaluation of independent startups.
Fellow Funders is an online platform for collective investment. What it does is to unite a set of investors with a company / project which needs financing. The way of doing this is through a capital increase, and all this is channelled through the platform.
In Spain, there are several platforms authorised by the CNMV. It is an activity regulated by Law 5/2015 of Promotion of Corporate Finance. The European Union is also pushing this activity and banking disintermediation, aware of its key role in the creation of new jobs in startups. We believe that 2017 will be a key year in the expansion of equity crowdfunding in Spain.
