Project ranked first in the StartUp Alcobendas competition for innovative projects, was previously developed in academia and recently established as a company. Biohope has recently been given the European ITBC (Innovative Technology-based Company) seal and recognised by the European Commission with the concession of a SME – Stage 1 Instrument, within the Horizon 2020 programme.
Biohope has been recognised by Madri+D with one of the two Madri+D awards for the Best Company and Ideas with a Technological Basis in 2016.
Biohope has received a grant of €3.8M from the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme for their developments.
Biohope has been given the seal of PYME Innovadora (Innovative SME), granted by the Science and Innovation Secretary for the Ministry of the Economy and Competitiveness.
Biohope has been accepted on a 3-week immersion programme in the innovation ecosystem of Biomedicine in Boston, USA, sponsored by the Richi Foundation, in support of innovative technological companies in early stage development with social impact.
