The StartUp Alcobendas accelerator facilitates the evolution of innovative business projects in the startup phase. The acceleration of these projects is done by promotions or tenders, and is carried out from an initial stage to a consolidation stage, developing measures which facilitate the maturation and development of the business model. For this, they have the support of experts in different areas of business management, as well as support from the town’s existing entrepreneurial ecosystem and the project promoter board, which is made up of investors, business representatives, experts in business development and from the university environment linked to Alcobendas, as well as members of the local government team. This promotor board will supplement the training and individual Mentoring, included as services in the programme.

All these acts are directed at encouraging networking and strategic relations for the launch of the project.

By means of the acceleration process, we seek to attract talent to the district in order to provide innovative solutions to the challenges which the town and the companies set up in it always face. Develop a model of acceleration which, based on the context of the town of Alcobendas and its entrepreneurial ecosystem, is able to provide guarantees for the launch and subsequent consolidation of the business projects which participate in the accelerator.

All services are financed from the budget of the City Council of Alcobendas, without any charge for participants.

Diffusion of business projects and their members through different communication media and with the support of the Communication Department of the City Council of Alcobendas, as part of StartUp Alcobendas.

The acceleration programme of the business projects will be carried out in the municipal facilities located at Calle Soria 43, in the town centre, sharing the building with the Centre for New Technologies – Conect@ and the House of Associations.

This property is a modern and open space, with a meeting room, an office area, a rest area and an open work area which allows a very flexible distribution of workstations and enables networking.
